Ten Ounce Cup

Pepper was and is my best fur baby friend. That is her, in the picture, right next to a 10 ounce up smelling the flowers on a sunny Sunday morning in the Anza Borrego Desert in our winter home.  

You can't fit much in a ten ounce cup right?  Why even buy a cup that size?  Now look at the size of my little girl... She can barely reach the flowers that are extending out of the cup to smell the fragrance, yet she did!  She was small but mighty  There is so much that I learned from her. So much.

We all have it in us! The ability to do what we want to do. The ability to take on things that seem bigger than us! The ability to stop those who want to bully us or step on us because they feel more significant.

Pimento ! Small but mighty!

You may have seemed smaller than a ten ounce cup, yet you are and were larger than life!

You have left a great lesson for all of us to follow.
Let’s think big and with gratitude, let’s look for joy around every corner.
